Follow the tips below to have a safe and seamless renting experience.

Safe Renting Tips
  • Look for the "Verified" logo. If the Host is not "Verified" ask them to contact us to become "Verified".
  • If possible, you or someone you know should view the property.
  • If you cannot meet the Host, have a phone conversation.
  • Never send money based only on email communication.
  • A recommended holding deposit is 20% of one month’s rent.
  • If you are wiring money, only wire from bank to bank.
  • Do not use wire services such as Western Union or Moneygram.
  • Do not send money to a country different than the country of the rental.
  • Get a signed rental agreement.
Security Deposit Tips
  • A security deposit is not more than 2x the rent.
  • Have your host inspect the premises before you leave.
  • Deposits should be returned 30 days after the rental period expires.
